Wednesday, January 09, 2008 -  The Lower Manhattan Dialysis Center, a medical office and dialysis facility founded in 1971 signed a 15-year lease with a five year option for 13,000 sf encompassing the entire 2nd and 3rd floors of 202 Centre Street.

Following a year long search, Lower Manhattan Dialysis Center turned to Sasha Majerovsky of Citywide Properties. The client had extremely specific needs and strict requirements. The six story corner building built in 1912 had asking rents of $45 psf.

Located in the Soho submarket, and in close proximity to Chinatown (one major requirement for the tenant) and to their former location at 150 Lafayette Street, the space fit their criteria in every way. Details of the complex transaction included creating a separate entrance with new lobby and elevator for the tenant on the Hester Street side. The ownership was represented by Nancy Yan of Centre Hester Realty.
